2016-04-07

Torino Process 2016: Policy analysis of Vocational Education and Training (VET). National launching event

Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, 6-7 April 2016

The national Torino Process report requires preparation, coordination, and capacity by the participating country to provide evidence, include stakeholders and coordinate with them, analyse the information in a holistic way, and ensure that findings and plans for the way ahead are the result of regional and national consensus.

The purpose of the meeting was to provide guidance on how to achieve this, a platform to coordinate and plan the work, and an introduction to the guidelines and the 2016 Torino Process Analytical Framework.

For the 2016 Torino Process round, Ukraine has opted for a regional dimension to its national reporting.  An additional purpose of the meeting was therefore to provide guidance for the participating regions on how to prepare their regional reports, and to build their capacity for this task.
