ETF Donor co-operation in vocational education and training. Annual knowledge sharing meeting on work based learning. Turin, 26-27 October.

In 2015, the ETF has started a mapping exercise of WBL policies and practices in the each of the countries of the Eastern Europe. This will be followed by feasibility assessments and the implementation of peer learning activities on policies and innovative practices, involving policy makers and business representatives. These activities are expected to lead to recommendations for follow-up actions in the countries. It also will inform the planned establishment of a work-based learning platform and the design of a capacity building programme.

Objectives of the event:
• To share lessons learned from the implementation of WBL policies, programmes and activities in partner countries;
• To share knowledge and expertise on effective approaches to work based learning;
• To identify opportunities for further cooperation in WBL in the regions.
