Training seminar on the development of microqualifications
On May 22, 2025, the Institute of Professional Qualifications, within the framework of The Bridge and VETpartEX projects, held a training seminar on the ways and features of developing microqualifications in the construction industry. During the seminar, teachers of higher, vocational and pre-higher education institutions were explained the features of developing modern professional standards in the construction industry and ways to take into account the requirements of these standards when developing educational programs and microqualifications.
Mobility Program at the University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy
From April 7 to 11, 2025, as part of the activities of the EU Erasmus+ project "Bridging the gap between university and industry: an innovative master's degree program supporting the development of green jobs and digital skills in the Ukrainian construction sector" (The Bridge), at the University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy, Project participants underwent a theoretical and practical training course on the use of BIM technologies, which included:
• research into the origins and applications of BIM, evolution from 2D to object modeling with examples in buildings and infrastructure;
• coordination in design, engineering analysis and visualization;
• practical experience working with industry-leading BIM software.
Mobility participants received certificates of completion of teacher training courses.
Mobility Program at Warsaw Polytechnic University, WUT, Warsaw, Poland
From February 10 to 15, 2025, as part of the activities of the EU Erasmus+ project "Bridging the gap between university and industry: an innovative master's degree program supporting the development of green jobs and digital skills in the Ukrainian construction sector" (The Bridge) at Warsaw Polytechnic University, WUT, 10-16 Feb. 2025 Venue: Al. Armii Ludowej 16, 00-637 Warsaw, POLAND, the Project participants underwent a theoretical and practical training course on the use of VIM technologies. Mobility participants received certificates of completion of advanced training courses for teachers.
A coordination meeting and Quality Assurance Control Meeting were also held.
Mobility Program at Institut für Allgemeine Mechanik RWTH Aachen University, Aachen, Germany
From November 18 to 22, 2024, as part of the activities of the EU Erasmus+ project “Bridging the gap between university and industry: an innovative master’s degree program supporting the development of green jobs and digital skills in the Ukrainian construction sector” (The Bridge), at the Institut für Allgemeine Mechanik RWTH Aachen University, the Project participants got acquainted with the University and educational programs in BIM technologies. A coordination meeting and a Quality Assurance Control Meeting were also held. During the meeting of the Quality Committee, reports on the status of preparation of new educational programs of each higher education institution were heard and discussed. Each higher education institution reported on the consideration of the comments of the expert opinions of the Institute of Professional Qualifications (experts Kolyshko R.A., Prytomanov S.O., Prytomanova O.M.) and the Academy of Construction of Ukraine (experts Nazarenko I.I., Braginets I.I.).
All participants of the Project agreed to complete the preparation of new educational programs in April 2025. The first intake of masters in new educational programs will be carried out in September 2025. During the discussion, it was decided to begin work on microqualifications in new educational programs under the guidance of experts from the Institute of Professional Qualifications in May 2025.
All mobility participants, while visiting the laboratories of RWTH University, got acquainted with modern training methods and equipment for the application of BIM technologies in civil and industrial construction.
Energy modernization of enterprises: modern directions of implementation and personnel support
On April 12, 2024, the conference "Energy modernization of enterprises: modern directions of implementation and personnel support" was held within the framework of the project "Support of energy modernization of enterprises in wartime". The project is implemented by the NGO "International Development Foundation", with the support of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
In general, the project is aimed at providing organizational, technical and financial support to increase the energy efficiency of industrial enterprises and the introduction of innovative teaching methods in educational institutions.
During the conference, the main results of the project were presented, in particular, the steps taken by pilot enterprises to support the energy modernization of enterprises in wartime were analyzed, future prospects and opportunities for the development of energy modernization of enterprises in the conditions of further military threats were determined.
Director of the Institute of Professional Qualifications, Rodion Kolyshko, speaking in the framework of the discussion "Presentation of the experience of implementing innovative teaching methods in educational institutions", in particular, emphasized the need to find synergy in the training of specialists and specialists needed for the labor market by educational institutions, regardless of which field of education they belong to are related "Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ project "The BRIDGE" ("Bridging the gap between university and industry: Master Curricular Supporting the Development of Green Jobs and Digital Skills in the Ukrainian Building Sector", we participate in the development of an innovative master's curriculum that supports the development of green of jobs and digital skills in the Ukrainian construction sector, however, future engineers who have to implement modern energy-efficient technologies in construction should work with specialists and specialists trained by professional and vocational higher education institutions who have similar knowledge and skills so that the result of their cooperation is as effective as possible and aimed at the early reconstruction of Ukraine," said Rodion Kolyshko.
Discussion of relevant skills for the construction sector
On February 22, 2024, within the framework of the ERASMUS+ "The BRIDGE" project, a meeting was held with representatives of professional (vocational and technical) construction education institutions. During the event, the Director of the Institute of Professional Qualifications, Rodion Kolyshko, presented the ERASMUS+ project "The BRIDGE", its goals, tasks and participants.
In particular, the main work packages of the project and its expected results were presented. "Training and successful employment of specialists with higher education is impossible without adequate support of specialists and qualified workers, whose training is carried out by professional education," said Rodion Kolyshko, in particular. "Techniques and approaches to modern construction, including, in particular, BIM and LEAN technologies, should be familiar to those seeking professional education, which, in particular, should be achieved within the framework of the ERASMUS+ project "The BRIDGE", the expert noted.

Working meeting of Ukrainian participants of the ERASMUS+ project
On January 4, 2024, a working meeting of Ukrainian participants of the Project ERASMUS+ "Bridging the gap between university and industry: Master Curricular Supporting the Development of Green Jobs and Digital Skills in the Ukrainian Building Sector" (The Bridge) was held.
Among the issues discussed during the meeting were, in particular, the planning of activities for the first quarter of 2024, the presentation of concepts of plans for evaluating the quality of project results and the dissemination of information about its activities. Among the tasks that were set, in particular, the development of project stakeholder questionnaires, the formation of an external project quality assurance committee, the preparation of a labor market analysis of specialists working in the field of BIM technologies in construction.
