About the project

Skills Lab is an initiative of the European Training Foundation (ETF) launched in 2020 to facilitate regular and in-depth analysis of the changing demand for skills in partner countries.

Together with national, European and international experts, the ETF analyzes trends and impacts on skills in technology, digitalisation of the economy, globalisation, demography, climate change and migration.

Much of the information derived from the analysis comes from studies of skills development processes in advanced economies. The purpose of Skills Lab is to facilitate similar research in developing countries and countries with transition economies.
